The Superbrain competition is run at the University of Cork by Prof Des MacHale. Diarmuid Early is a multiple winner, and has assisted in the construction of this volume. The book contains the first 25 years of papers, together with a separate detailed analysis of solutions. The topics mostly overlap those traditionally appearing in Mathematical Olympiads, but sometimes includes other topics: complex numbers, elementary analysis and some puzzles which require no mathematical background. Irish customers may also purchase the book directly from Des MacHale, and a stock is kept in Cork to that end.
