IMO 2006

This was the IMO of Slovenia, the smallest country to have run an IMO in terms of population. The exquisite solution to Problem 6 given here was not found at the IMO by anyone.

Presenter and authors

This DVD is presented by Dr Ceri Fiddes who is Head of Department at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, England. She was the UK deputy leader at the International Mathematical Olympiads in 2006 and 2007. She is co-author of the commentary with Dr Geoff Smith of the University of Bath. He has been the UK IMO leader since 2002.

Licences

This material is extremely compact, and we do not expect it to be viewed at a single sitting. Rather an able student will want to watch a short section of it, and then do relevant exercises downloaded from the Highperception home page, perhaps over a week.
